The Arizona Department of Health Services conducted a meeting in Phoenix on July 11th, 1977 to promote training and provide information about animal-related issues, and ARACEAA was founded. Dr. Tom Kelly of Phoenix was the first President. ARACEAA was incorporated by Patty Williams and Martin Rogers of Bullhead City in 1996. Today, ARACEAA has members throughout Arizona. ARACEAA conducts two conferences each year to provide training and networking on rabies, animal law enforcement and animal shelter topics. Members also receive a copy of the National Animal Control Association News. |
